Another quilt

I quilted this using the trinity leaf and vine pattern. Marcia pieced this and I quilted it. It was done rather quickly. I must be getting more experience and speed!! This quilt is slated for the craft show in the fall. This is straight off the frame and not trimmed up.

Marcia's quilt and an update on the business of quilting

Here is a quilt top that Marcia made for Finished Stitches. I quilted in with a trinty leaf and meandering vine pattern. I really like it but the photo of the back doesn't really show it off well. This quilt will go into a craft show in the fall.

I have learned the following stitches for customer quilts and I have named them: Meandering Carnations, Wonky Feathers, Holly leaf and vine, Trinity Leaf and vine, Stippling, Loop de Loop, Stars and stippling, echo dwirling and bananas. I am working on more all the time. My hope is to have samples of each stitch for the quilt shop an the studio by September.

Wonky Feathers

I really like the wonky feathers pattern. Alice made this quilt and it turned out to be so beautiful. I quilted it yesterday afternoon and had so much fun!

Baby quilt

Mary asked us to finish a quilt for her BFF who is having a baby. The quilt is very chic and I know will be treasured. She did a great job. I used meandering carnations because it mimicked the little flower in the pink fabric. Thanks Mary for sharing!!

GRADUATION QUILT

This was Vicki's Daughters surprise quilt for graduation. Marcia pieced this together and it was quilted by Vicki. This was a block exchange so Vicki has a similiar quilt to finish!
It is quilted with meandering carnations.

Gone Fishing

Joan finished her first quilt and asked us to finish it for her. It is quilted with a loop de loop freehand pattern. You can see the pattern on the light fish background.

Great Job, your first quilt is fabulous!

Meandering Carnations

Here is a finish for a quilt Marcia made. I call this freehand design meandering carnations. It was inspired by an antique pattern in a book I saw many years ago. It was a colonial inspired applique.

The back is pieced too, a first for me. It has strips on the sides. I liked how this one quilted. Now to bind it while the cold front is here. Click on image for a little closer look.
