First Quilt of 2011 Finished!

This is a first quilt for Barb and her daughter will be thrilled. What a great job. The loops and circles complemented the quilt nicely.

The long arm is ready for the next one!

Christmas gifts are so fun to finish!

Alice made another quilt and this  is another beautiful one! A disappearing 4 patch that is rich in its color choices. I used a copper thread to stipple the borders and use a ladyslipper stitch in the center. Lovely!!

More leaves and curls! Alice made this fabulous Four Patch Posie for the holidays. The stitches really show up on the black fabric.

Peaches and cream

Here is a little Christmas beauty. I quilted it with a pattern I think looks like Lady slippers. Great job, Alice, it will be loved!!

Wow, Finished Stitches has been busy

This is the front and back of Allison's beautiful Christmas quilt. Stitched with Trinity leaf with ribbons for a festive holiday quilt.

A similar stitch for Dorothy's fall table topper. How pretty for a Thanksgiving table!

And for all you NASCAR fans, Maggie made this for a friend. Overall large stippling for a road appearance. So cute!

This is Joan's reversible Civil War Quilt. The top photo is the Southern states and the bottom Photo is for the Northern states. It is stitched with leaves and stippling. It looks like a map.

Thanks all you ladies for such inspiration and wonderful quilts to work on!!

Wall hanging

This is a wall hanging I was working on this weekend. It is a ribbon and swirls quilting pattern. I really like this wall hanging or topper, it is about 40 inches square. It is going in the craft sale because it was designated a practice quilt but if it doesn't sell, it is going on my chair!!

Alice's quilt

I love the purples and greens of this king sized quilt my friend Alice made. I really love it and it turned out so lovely. She chose the overall meandering trinity leaf pattern. The best mistake was the quilt shop ordered this color thread for us a while back. We almost didn't keep it and it is so popular, we have had to reorder it for customers!! It is a blue-grey color. Happy binding Alice!
